Martha graham improvements for assessment
Martha graham dance sequence- https://youtu.be/jWCl7Td4Kqg In this part of the sequence I had just done a contraction and released the contraction to stretch back pushing my feet and arms behind me.To improve this I could push my arms further back and point my toes. In order to improve this movement I need to look in the distance of my hand by me focusing more on my hand it will make the move more sharp. In this photo I feel as though I need to start of by improving my posture and alignment by supporting and straightening my back. In order to improve this movement I need to contract more and let my body go by letting my body go my head will naturally full down into place giving me the correct position. This photo shows me mid sequence as you can see from the photo I need to improve on my posture especially in my back Aswell as pointing my toes more.I also need to make sure my knees are level so the movement looks more neat.
